The problem
Building systems are relational, but operator interfaces often present them as isolated points and equipment pages. That makes it harder to see what serves what, where a fault may propagate, or whether several alarms belong to the same event.
This prototype makes those relationships the main interface. Its data and telemetry are a designed demo, used to test navigation, alarm investigation, and historical replay rather than represent a connected production building.
What it does

Places central plant, hydronic loops, air handlers, and served zones on one zoomable topology with distinct water and airflow paths.
Inspect in context
Opens equipment details, points, and alarms without losing the asset's position or its upstream and downstream relationships.
Triage related alarms
Groups alarm conditions using direct equipment relationships and event timing, while keeping suggested diagnostic links separate from confirmed causes.
Replay the building
Moves through a timeline of building state so operators can see when an event started, which connected equipment changed, and how the system recovered.
Find equipment fast
Searches equipment, IDs, zones, and points, then brings the matching asset into focus on the network instead of sending the operator to another screen.
